Not much about the gen 4
« on: February 19, 2019, 02:52:26 PM »
Not a lot of discussion on the gen 4.
Is there nothing to complain about?
Or just nothing to brag about?

Maybe they're not all that available yet? I'm looking forward to reviews since it really looks like a huge improvement.

It depends on how much you value the features. For me my baddest problem with the Gen 3 were the poor sights. So, to me, having quality stock sights come with the Gen 4 as well as the option of using any G43 sights was well worth the upgrade. The rest of the improvements are just bonuses.

I just picked mine up tonight and as of right now I LOVE IT!
Been carrying a Ruger LCP2 for about a year because I prefer to pocket carry and that fit my bill for the time.
Now after holding this I have found a 9mm that fits the bill PERFECTLY! I love the way it fits my hand, love the weight of it, sight picture is a huge step up from LCP.
One bad thing I love the pinky extension BUT it might hamper pocket draw.
Just wish it wasn't so friggin cold in Iowa right now so I could bench test it 😕
I am the Hobo, no more, no less, but ALWAYS me!

Finally said hell with the cold and snow and ran a mag of Critical Defense through at the range. Was a little concerned about yall calling it snappy.
I honestly think the KelTec 9 I sold to buy this had more kick and less control!
It felt good in my hand and easy to sight compared to Keltec also. My (little sausage fingers) as my wife likes to refer to them fit the Db much more comfy!
I'm very pleased with my purchase and now feel better knowing what to expect if I need to pull it from my pocket!
