Let's try to shop there less often folks. They are the enemy now.
-
Yeah, we put a dent in Dick's sporting goods sales, but I don't think we will even show up on the radar screen of Walmart.
-
Yeah I don't do Dick's, lol. I can probably do Walmart maybe two times a year. That'll teach them.
-
We need to fight them on their new ruling. Shop at grocery stores, Amazon, department stores, sports stores, etc.

Attention Walmart shoppers!!! :Main_thumbdown2:

There's a lot of Walmart loyalist, no wonder we will lose strength in our 2A. :Main_thumbdown2:

I have to admit I will still shop there as they still allow concealed carry, and I can still buy ammo for my shotgun. It is however a disturbing trend. Unfortunately I think it will become more difficult for us legal gun owners to be able to legally carry our firearms in public areas
-
I thought they asked for no guns, concealed or not. :main_whistling:

Concealed carry is allowed for those that have a permit
-
I always CCarry so I dont have to change any habits at Walmart. Ironically, it was the first place I ever carried after I got my ccw permit about 10 yrs ago.
I kind of understand their request about open carry as so many libs freak out as soon as they even see a gun and here in MO we just had that guy decked out in body armor and an AR walk in to a Walmart down in Springfield just to get a reaction recorded on video. Fortunately an off duty firefighter held him at gunpoint as opposed to shooting him proactively and facing a dicey situation in court later.
I do not understand the change regarding ammo, specifically the 9mm and .40, the two most popular for handguns, that seems a little activist to me. Too bad, during the early stages of the ammo shortage, thats where I stocked up on Fed Champion and WWB 9mm target ammo when nobody else had any and they didnt jack up their price like many others did.
So, I'm not happy but not boycotting them either as they have a right to decide what they sell.
-
They are still selling all calibers of ammo, apparently until they run out of stock of the “forbidden “ calibers
-
For kicks, I went in to a walmart in Houston and it was all out of 9mm and 380's. They had a very small 22 and shotgun shells and I'm thinking they will get rid of the display soon. I did buy a soda though, oops. :main_whistling:

They are still selling 22 ammunition and shotgun ammunition, some centerfire ammunition.

Maybe we won't put a dent in their gun dept sales but it's the OTHER items we won't be in their store to buy that they will surely notice.
