Title: Extractor
Post by: Kujiin on July 25, 2021, 11:45:44 PM
Newbie to this carbine.

Does the extractor have a spring like an AR? Mine does not appear to have one. I looked with a flashlight, didn't see one in there. I can move it freely, however it always stays in the (what call the lowered) closed position.

Thanks,

K

The extractor is spring loaded & has got to have some sort of spring pressure behind it to function properly.  Because you don't see a spring doesn't mean that its not captured behind some part of the firearm that performs that function correctly.  If it did not have some sort of spring tension behind it, the gun would probably not function right.
