I agree with you guys, I don’t see the point of those larger sights. I’m happy with the sights on mine. I think it’s a Gen 2. I’m not sure what the difference is between Gen 2 and Gen 3

I was looking at the Gen4 and think that the "Glock compatible sights" are a waste. This is a deep pocket/IWB CC pistol, not a target pistol. The sights just get in the way, IMO. I have a Gen1 that was converted to a Gen2 by DB. I prefer those sights - small and unobtrusive.

Can't say I disagree with that.  I too believe that higher profile sights just create more snag problems with these little pocket guns.

Got my DB380 back yesterday, they replaced the cam block, rear rail, trigger bar, and made other unspecified updates. They test fired it but I really wish they would've ran a few more rounds. The stovepipes were so random it may or may not happen within 2 magazines.
I'm going to the range after work today to test it out, wish me luck!

Any update?

Glad you like your new acquisition.  They are nice little pocket guns alright but can be a bit snappy, as you found out, with the heavier bullets.  115's should be just about right for these guns.

Picked it up at my LGS/Pawn Shop. Brand new. Took it out shooting and what a nice micro! My store bought 124's gave quite hand slap. My 115 reloads were perfect.

Before installing, warm it up with the wife's hairdryer. It'll stretch to fit easier. I use bicycle inner tubes. Just cut a section to fit that way you got the length covered. I forget what size inner tube I used but I think it was for a child's bike. Maybe a 20".

Thank you for your input.
When I stripped the gun it wasn't down to the firing pin internals so I think I may have got a bad firing fin and is a faulty pistol.
Cheers and happy new year!

No, but that's not a bad idea.  It is a might hard to release under any circumstance that's for sure.

Maybe the firing pin block is not functioning correctly.  Whenever you cycle the slide to load a round from the magazine the gun is supposed to reset the firing pin tab behind the trigger sear.  If it's not doing that the non-reset firing pin will remain in the forward position like your pictures show.

Also, if, when you did your 1st field strip, you stripped it down to the firing pin internals, maybe you didn't reassemble them correctly.  Other than what I've mentioned the only other thing that I can think of that may be causing this problem is a faulty pistol and will need to be returned to customer service.
