After I removed and replaced my DB9 slide rear cover I cycled some snap caps to make sure the trigger reset properly. The trigger reset just fine. I had not previously noticed that the trigger actually resets after the slide travels rearward just about a 1/4" of an inch, long before the slide ejects the spend casing and returns to battery. I was delighted to find that I don't have to wrack the slide fully to the rear to reset the trigger when using snap caps.
