Remove the backplate and pull the striker out.
never took the backplate off my diamondback, on my glock 42 you have to already have the slide off to remove the backplate.....is the diamondback the same?

That use to happen all the time, punch all the pins out, then u can take whole pistol apart.

when sear pin would walk long ago, you would have to push all the pins out and when trigger broke, same thing.

You can reach in through the rear of the slide with a small stiff wire with a 90° hook and pull the sear rearward to get the slide off.

Pull the slide back far enough to get most of the striker spring tension off the sear, then pull the sear far enough back that the striker will override the sear then let the slide go forward.

Sounds like the easiest way to me. Tnx!

Return label came on Monday 9 Mar 15.  Left here on 10 Mar 15.  Anybody want to guess how long before I see it again?   I included a nice letter about all the feeding problems.  Anybody think it will feed any better when I get it back?  Anybody sent there's back not feeding and got it back feeding well?

I'm not going to contact them.  I'm going to just forget about it, and if it shows back up, whenever that is, I'll post the results.  So far the customer service has been pretty good.

No need to apologize, I'm thinking the same thing.  I'm thinking they might be a little busy.  They may also have a lot more paper work, approvals, delays, forms, etc. with their new business partner.  I felt like the return label had to be approved.  They told me it could take up to 5 days.

Mine's been in the shop since before Thanksgiving.   :main_undecided_ncc:

They have had mine now for 3 months... Every mag had a jam. Would not feed reliably. Even bought a 2nd mag. Same results. On round 171 the trigger broke. I hope i get a gun I can count on when it returns. I really wanted to like this gun.

Mine was a early model, think it took 29 days to get it back after the trigger broke.
