Running full 6+1 in the db380
« on: August 14, 2017, 01:07:23 PM »
I have had occasional issues when keeping the mag full with one in the pipe. I will sometimes have a misfeed on the second or third round.
I am looking for feedback on others' experience with this issue. How many here keep a full mag with one in the chamber or do most keep only 5 in the mag?

Sometimes a mag spring can help. Contact Diamondback at info@diamondbackfirearms.com and we can work on getting it running 100% for you.

What ammo are you using? I'm a proponent of carrying FMJ's in a 380 for better penetration. They tend to feed better as well.

FMJ is the only ammunition I use in my db380

I was using PPU 95 grain FMJ.  Seems like a mag issue to me.

I believe that PPU ammo may have very hard primers. I was getting misfires with it in my bodyguard 380

I have had issues with PPU 380 ammo with a Bersa Thunder that I used to own. I'll try some Remington UMC FMJ and see if it works better.  I have only had the problem with only one of three mags though.
