Stainless barrels
« on: August 17, 2017, 11:56:57 AM »
I noticed that Diamondback sells stainless steel barrels on their website for the db380 and db9.  Are these made from pure stainless steel or is it a stainless finish?  Are there advantages to the stainless barrels compared to the stock barrel?

The material is SS, its not a coating and they also have a different feedramp cut.

And could you give more info on the differences in the feedramp cut between stock and these barrels?

For the price it's worth the try. If I didn't already have an extra barrel I would buy one

$50 plus $5 shipping for a new stainless steel barrel and a 6 round magazine! I just bought one. The magazine alone is $16.

Well, after a little research, I ordered the stainless barrel (with complimentary magazine). I looked at used and "new" DB380 mags on Ebay and they were from $18-25...can't go wrong with this deal.
I'm curious as to how the "different" feed ramp feeds compared to the OEM. I haven't had any problems with my ZExxxx OEM barrel, but did a little polishing, anyway.
Anybody know if the stainless barrels are already polished?

It's more of a satin finish.
