DB9 Problem
« on: September 09, 2017, 09:42:27 PM »
Hi, everyone.

I bought a DB9 about a month ago, and I was finally able to take it to the range for testing.

I was pleased with the guns accuracy. The problem was that after each shot, the trigger wouldn't reset. I had to take my trigger finger and push the trigger forward from behind to reset it.

Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for any input.

I would call customer service. Sound like it needs to go back.

Trigger return spring is busted from the sounds of it.

Thanks for the info.

I'll wait a few days. They're having problems in Florida I've heard.... :main_unsure:

Got the gun back after about a month. Went to the range today. Now I'm getting light primer strikes.  :Main_thumbdown2:

Any suggestions short of having to send the gun back again and waiting another month?

Thanks

Was the DB9 off-the-shelf new? Does the rear frame pin fit absolutely flush to the outer edge of the frame? What brand ammo are you using? Have you cleaned and lightly oiled the striker assembly? Serial prefix?

It is off the shelf new. I called customer service and they're sending me a new firing pin and spring.

I'll change those out and see if that helps
