Greetings folks.  The reason for my forum handle "The Original Jim" was because I was a really early adopter of the Diamondback db380, and an early member of the forerunner to this forum, called "Diamondback Talk."  After a lot of fiddling around trying to get my db380 to run reliably,  I gave up and put it away for a while.

After many years, I decided to dig it out a month or two back, and started looking to see if there was anything new to help solve my db380 problem.  That's when I discovered the old forum was gone, and this one was here.  So that's the story.

Of course, a lot has happened, including a new generation of Diamondbacks, but I'm still hoping to get my Gen 1 running.  Anyway, nice to meet you all.  I look forward to lurking and contributing, as well.

You might consider upgrading your 380 with the stainless barrel and magazine combo on the Diamondback website store.  The new barrel has a different feed ramp and together with the new mag, that might clear up any feed issues.
