Hey fellow members! So I intend to purchase my first Diamondback--let alone my first AR-15. I want to get the DB15CCB but I noticed something different. Apparently there are two different looking DB15CCB's? Okay so most websites that sell the DB15CCB show the first image attached ("DB15CCB Image 1"). Now others will have the following image for the SAME model number. It is the second image I attached named ("DB15CCB Image 2"). Notice how the barrel is different on the second image as it appears to be a mil-spec barrel as well as the free float rail. Those really seem to be the main differences. Anyway, I have looked everywhere and have not gotten an answer as to why there are two different looking guns that are the same model?
Basically, I'm trying to purchase the second pictured model but can't seem to find one. Can anyone shed some light about this or have an explanation? Thank you guys.
