6.5 Creedmoor carrier group disassembly
« on: March 18, 2018, 05:56:55 PM »
Just bought a DB10 in 6.5 Creedmoor. Took the bolt carrier out to disassemble and am confused about the firing pin retainer. Wasn't expecting a screw in the retainer. I am new to ARs and the instructions Don't explain it too well.

Google that question and see all the issues people have with their cotter pins. Mostly not being able to get it back in. I keep spare cotter pins on hand for that very problem. I think it's a great idea to have a cross bolt like that. First I've seen it.   :main_thumbup_ncc:

Just push it out with a punch, it's not threaded.
