DB10 platform 308?!
« on: January 21, 2019, 10:53:54 PM »
I went to a gun shop in Winston-Salem Saturday to pick up a can of case lube and I just happened to ask if they had any Diamond Back guns in the place.  They said they had one used.  I asked to see it and they pulled a DB10 platform FDE beauty with a scope off the rack.  The sticker said 308 (7.62x51).  I don't see a 308 in FDE in the DB online lineup (I did see the black one but black guns are scary... :main_winkani_ncc:).  Anybody know some details on the 308?  They were asking just under $1000 for it with the scope. If I go back I'll have to see what the scope is to see if the price is worth it.  The price for the black scary version of the gun on the DB website is $1K.  Their price seems high.

Does it have the stainless fluted 18" barrel with a muzzle brake?

It's the standard 16 inch black anodized barrel with a muzzle break.

Depending on the quality of the scope and if the scope will be what you want sounds like a fair deal. I bought a DB10ELFDE from grabagun.com for $899.00 on a one day sale. Today 882.99.

Nice!  I'll have to go back and take another look at it.  I was interested in a 7.62x39 more than a 7.62x51 but I guess I can use it for about the same purpose and it will reach out and touch something a little harder and farther away.
