Ammo sensitivity
« on: February 21, 2019, 07:19:09 PM »
Been thinking about this break in  thing, kind of worried. I was running armscor ammo, having light primer strikes. Switched to federal, and one whole box, didn't miss a lick, tried some remmy umc.Two mags full no problem. Now I have a favorite pocket pal.

I don’t use anything but quality factory ball ammunition. That’s my $.02

The firing pin in the db380 doesn’t hit as hard as most other pistols. But that’s also why it has a light and smooth trigger pull.

From my experience handloading ammo, the pistol primers made outside of the U.S. tend to be more prone to light strikes than U.S. brands.

Mine has been great as far as misfires although I had a few after about 2,000 rounds so I put the Galloway spring kit in it

Armscor doesn't seem to be the one to use. It doesn't like WWB either, won't cycle the slide, not enough umph.
