New Gen 4 DB9 concern?
« on: March 22, 2019, 01:55:43 PM »
I just picked up a new Gen 4 DB9 through Davidson's. It came with a sticker that says not plus p rated, and the barrel has only one dot not two. I don't intend to shoot plus P however would still like the barrel rated for it.

What do you guys and gals think?

You are good to shoot +p. It was an outside source that told everyone that the 2 dots meant it was ok. Our barrels will have one dot, two dots or no dots. You got one of the first runs and our 2nd run will be built exactly the same but we will start engraving the barrels with +p. Personally I wouldn't shot +p out of a gun this small, but it will handle it.

Thank you for your response. I am not going to shoot +P ammo out of it, but it makes me feel better to know it could.  :main_thumbs_2up:

Thanks....I couldn't imagine +P in this either, but I was concerned. OFF TO THE RANGE!

Does this mean 10mm is out of the question?  :main_whistling:

That would be something!  :main_thumbs_2up:
Perhaps Mr Moon will decide to make a PM10, until then, the DB9 is actually closer in size to my Kahr CW380 than my PM40.

By the look of this forum, the db9 gen 4 can’t shoot normal load ammo and very much selective much less +p without damaging it. :main_azn:
