A2 fixed stock on a DB15CCMLB
« on: June 14, 2019, 07:39:57 PM »
Anyone install the mentioned stock on their DB15? I find the six position collapsible stock to be too short. I also like the aesthetics of a fixed stock more.

I started looking into doing this on my DB15CCB last year but then bailed. I agree with you, though, and I'd love to see how it turns out if you decide to make the switch.

magpul makes the PRS that will mount right over the carbine tube now, it is amazing.

That's interesting but a bit on the pricey side......I went out shooting with my three brothers today and they all liked the gun except for the length of the stock. All said too short.

Well, after much looking and research I decided not to do an A2 stock. What I did do was get a butt pad that extends the stock by about 3/4". Not necessary for recoil but it does increase the length the stock. The gun is much better feeling now and I still have the adjustable stock.

That PRS design looks like it borrowed from precision rifle stocks. Nice, but 'ouch $'
