Am2 magazine issue
« on: July 08, 2019, 09:00:43 AM »
Hello new to the forums was wondering if anybody else has had an issue like mine. Just bought a AM2 3 weeks ago already shot 250 rounds thru it and only issue ive been having is when you grip the gun and your pinky rests on the mag and you apply pressure while making a shot the mag will disconnect like if it was ejected. It does it with both the normal mag and the extended mag. To test I gripped the gun while not trying to use my pinky and it ran great no issues at all just uncomfortable.

Just tried mine and couldn't get it to do that. Do your 'empty' magazines have a little play when inserted indicating it's fully locked in place? I'm not sure how many rounds I've put thru mine so far, but not a single problem with it.

When empty they do move a bit and loaded also just a slight bit not alot to say its bad. Its wierd cause you be shooting like normal and then all of the sudden youll feel after taking a shot the mag slip like it came loose and at the same time usually a FTE

It looks like the catch is not in the neutral position (as if the button is being slightly depressed).

Yeah that would be the issue thing is the button looks to be in place and has no play. So they treated it as a factory defect since when I bought it's been having that issue but without anything else to compare we couldnt quite say what it was
