New DB10 on the way

It's the .308 13.5" pistol with a Tailhook brace. Sweet!

Still waiting, but they did say they were +/- 3 weeks for build time. Don't they understand my personal 'needs'? LOL  :main_tongue:

Maybe they're just trying to help me save on ammo costs, given it's a .308. Yeah, that's the ticket. Right?

You could have purchased the "build it yourself" kit at summer sale prices!

I picked up 4 AR15 build kits and lowers.  Gonna have fun building them.

Today's the day!  :main_shades_smile:  Going to the Wake Cty 100 meter indoor range this weekend. I'll use a scope to check accuracy, but haven't decided what to mount on it permanently. Red dot? Prism? 1-xx scope like my Trijicon? I don't really want to hang another pound on top of an already heavy weapon. But I'll have fun figuring it all out.  :main_thumbs_2up:

Nice, you'll definitely need ear protection with that brake on a 308 and pistol.

Folks at my indoor range are going to hate me. I don't care, as I've suffered through many super loud brakes next to me. Realistically, this AR10 pistol is only 1.5" shorter than a 'rifle.' Talk about pushing the envelope. Talk about me trying to one-handed shoot this thing, especially with that 1.5 lb scope! LOL Cody's YouTube videos makes it look like there's very little recoil. Damn, I hope he's right!

Range day today. I was pleasantly surprised that the recoil was pretty mild on this 308 pistol. I released 90 rounds and didn't need to check into the ER for shoulder replacement surgery. The accuracy was also good, although I think with a little more orientation to the trigger and such, I could get better. Now I need to decide where in the defensive or hunting/zombie/tyranny lineup this platform deserves a spot. Pretty tough given the other options I have on hand. And that's the secret...options.

I'm still of the thinking...what one weapon, if you could only have one, would suit all you objectives. Pretty tough. I'm still thinking my AR15 7.62x39 build is the perfect choice. It's very light, and the 30 caliber bullet is powerful for all people and most game. Is it a 500+ yard target champ? Probably not, but for most anything us normal people need, it's very capable.

The 6.5 Grendel out preforms the commie round big time.

Bigly!
