problem - near-flush mag release
« on: October 10, 2019, 01:53:47 PM »
Hello Diamondback Forum!

I have looked, but missed it if the solution has been written about - but what about that DB380 mag release?

I did 40 lpi checker it and that did help ... somewhat.

I did take off the sharp upper corner of the mag release (nearest the trigger).

But still looking for a way to slightly extend the mag release button.  Is this something they addressed with the manufacture of any 'generation' of the DB380?

Thanks for your consideration!

Also of note - the breechface on my newer DB380 was somewhat rough (a possible source of feeding issues) so I stoned it smooth.

The only thing I can come up with is maybe a new magazine release spring...maybe the current one is overly compressed? Or possible the magazine release itself is dragging or sticking in the grove?
