DB customer service...does it exist?
« on: February 12, 2020, 02:55:16 PM »
I have a new DB9 Gen four and am having problems with the mags sticking in the mag well to the extent where I have to pry them out. Both of the mags are Gen four mags.

I have attempted three times not to contact their customer service to see about rectifying this problem, because as of now my pistol is useless.

Twice I called their customer service phone number only to be put into voicemail, both times I left messages with my phone number and the problem I am having.

In addition, I sent them an email with my problems as well, after three days, still no response???

Why would they try to PM me here when they have my email address and phone number?  My patience is getting thin with a company that has Customer Service that can't get back to you in 4 days after three separate attempts.

Thanks, I will try those numbers out tomorrow, if they don't work I'm dumping the pistol at Cabelas and chalking it up to poor customer service!

The Phone # I used was 877 997-6774 which is listed as the contact number in the booklet that came with the gun. That seems to be their general number and on the menu, they call out "repairs" is #1, when I get transferred there I always get kicked into voicemail, same with the "Operator" choice.

The email address is the service contact format you use on their website.

Ok the phone number you gave me goes back into the same service and end up on the same voicemail, obviously, this company is either going down the tubes or has absolutely NO customer service at all.

WAIT!  I just got a return voicemail from Diamondback that they are having their gunsmith look into the problem, although I don't know how they could do that without talking to me or looking at the pistol??

If they responded within a week, thats pretty good compared to most mfgs, even if it was just an acknowledgment that they received your voicemail or email.  With ShotShow and new products being released, I'm sure things have been hectic with people out of the office, etc.

I usually contact them via email and Becky or Cheri usually responds within a few days and then act as the go between with the gunsmith and customer, which can slow things down a little if more info is needed. I have noticed that some of their email responses have come on weekends.  I always treat them with respect and appreciation for their help and receive the same in return.

Be patient. It can usually take 4-6 weeks to get your gun back.
My FS9 took the full 6 weeks.

The pistol is back and running like a champ, put 50 rounds through it today, not one hiccup.  The recoil is stiff but the recoil was cut down about 25% to 30% using my preferred 9mm defense ammo, Inceptor ARX 65 gr 1650 FPS.

Next step is to put a laser on this bad boy, it's a keeper!
