Why a full mag may not feed
« on: October 17, 2020, 01:46:31 PM »
Why a full mag may not feed.  I found this article on why a full six round magazine may not feed properly on the db9. This may be old news. The Luger and the auto 9mm has different dimensions and stack differently. I measured Federal Punch, Ruger Arx. Underwood Defender and Lehigh Max Expansion and they were all had some taper. Also mentioned is that Diamondback modified there mags to help this. I never had any problems in my Gen3 but used only brazer 115,   Freedom Munitions FMJ XTP and Hornady Critical defense. And never had any problems feeding. I am going to try Some Xterme Defender and 124 Punch  in the G3 and G4. Hand cycling the 124 Punch in the G3 does not flow smoothly. But the G4 does.  Just found article and pics interesting.
